DSS REVIEW: The Department of Social Security is reviewing recruitment procedures after taking on as a fraud investigator a man who was subject to a suspended prison sentence, William Hague, the junior minister, revealed. Michael Boothe, 28, who worked as a DSS investigator in west London, was sentenced yesterday at Isleworth Crown Court to nine months jail.
