SHOPS EXPANSION: Twenty-three One Stop Shops for helping business and industry to expand are to be opened at a cost of pounds 5.57m, Michael Heseltine, President of the Board of Trade, announced. The pilot schemes will be based in six areas: Birmingham, Halton (North Cheshire), Hertfordshire, Manchester, South and East Cheshire and Tyneside.
