DEFENCE SPENDING: Twelve foreign flagged ships but no British vessels have been chartered during the past 12 months to transport Army personnel and vehicles to the former Yugoslavia, Jeremy Hanley, the minister for the armed forces, said. One British flagged ship was offered but was not competitively priced, Mr Hanley said.
