URBAN CASH: Robin Squire, junior environment minister, announced allocations to the 57 Urban Programme authorities in England for 1993/1994 totalling pounds 163m. The biggest cash shares go to Birmingham (pounds 14.8m) and Liverpool (pounds 12.3m).

ACCESS: From tomorrow, disabled people will have priority access to the Training for Work, Jobclub, Job Interview Guarantee, Work Trial and Business Start-Up job and training programmes, Michael Forsyth, Minister of State for Employment, said.
