CIVIL SERVANTS: Between 6,000 and 7,000 Ministry of Defence posts will be relocated by the mid-1990s, leaving about 3 per cent of MoD civilian staff in London, Jonathan Aitken, Minister for Defence Procurement, told Clive Betts (Lab, Sheffield Attercliffe).
