PM's business bargain hunt starts at Asda

 

Empty and under-used Government offices will be opened up for new businesses, it was announced yesterday.

As many as 300 buildings left partly or completely vacant after recent job cuts in the public sector could be made available to entrepreneurs at low rents under plans unveiled by David Cameron, as the Prime Minister took part in the latest of his PM Direct question-and-answer sessions at the Leeds headquarters of the supermarket chain Asda, which yesterday announced a £500m expansion plan that will create 5,000 jobs
