Pounds 7m grant fight
CAMDEN council, in north London, was granted leave by the High Court to seek a judicial review of a move by the Secretary of State for the Environment, John Gummer, to claw back more than pounds 7m in pre-1990 housing subsidy payments made to the authority after the abolition of the GLC in 1986.
