THE DUKE of Edinburgh steered his 38ft yacht into another vessel during a race on the opening day of Cowes Week yesterday. The duke's Yeoman XXVIII suffered superficial damage but the other yacht, Magazine II, was more badly damaged. Cowes Week press officer Sue Hardwicke said the duke 'was clearly in the wrong'.
