Prison praised

Britain's first privatised jail - Wolds remand prison, Humberside - is 'professionally managed to a high and consistent standard', according to a report published by its Board of Visitors today. A separate report by the Prison Reform Trust claimed that violence and drug abuse were rife at the jail.
