The Ministry of Agriculture said a deadly new disease was attacking wild rabbits. Two have died in Kent and Devon from viral haemorrhagic disease, which attacks the liver, heart and lungs and has already killed dozens of commercial and domestic rabbits in Britain and millions across Europe.
