RAF helicopter loses control and ditches into 100ft deep lake, killing three teenage air cadets
Amateur video footage taken at the scene of yesterday's helicopter crash at Llyn Padarn, Snowdonia, in which three teenage air cadets died. The RAF Wessex helicopter spirals out of control, apparently after its tail rotor stopped, and hits the water, sinking within seconds. Three male RAF crew and a fourth cadet, a 16-year-old girl, freed themselves and were rescued by canoeists.
