Nineteen people appeared in court after a police operation that netted pounds 1.5m in counterfeit currency, explosives and more than 40 firearms. Four men were remanded in custody by Thames magistrates, the others were bailed. All were charged with counterfeiting, firearms offences or dishonest handling.
