A man jailed for life for robbing and terrorising a newspaper delivery boy had his sentence reduced to five years by the Court of Appeal. Anthony Vassell, 30, of Kingsbury, north-west London, was sentenced at Harrow Crown Court in March last year. Mr Justice Ognall said it was a difficult case but a life sentence was not justified because it did not satisfy the criterion that Vassell posed a serious or grave danger to the public.
