A drink-driver had his fine cut from pounds 450 to pounds 72 after a courtroom room outburst by his boss. Counsel for David Thomas, 22, a driver, of Solihull, West Midlands, asked magistrates assessing his fine to bear in mind he would probably lose his job when the manager interjected: 'He's sacked now.'
