School assault

A father was sentenced to four months in jail after being found guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court of racially abusing and attacking an Asian science teacher at the Warwick Boys Secondary School, Walthamstow, east London, in March last year. Edward Brooks, 32, attacked Bagwan Singh, 40, after his 12-year-old son claimed he had been assaulted in a lesson.
