Schools expel 18 pupils over drugs (CORRECTED)

Eighteen pupils have been suspended from two schools after being accused of taking or supplying drugs, it was revealed yesterday.

Fifteen teenagers have been 'indefinitely excluded' from Ysgol Gyfun Gwynllyw comprehensive, in Trevethin, Pontypool, Gwent. And three 16-year-old girls have been expelled from Hereford Cathedral School, after being caught with cannabis on a trip to Amsterdam.

CORRECTION

In Wednesday's issue we reported that three 16-year-old girls had been expelled from Hereford Cathedral Choir School after being caught with cannabis. We have asked been asked to point out that one of the girls is 15 and that the girls were not caught in possession of cannabis either on a trip to Amsterdam or elsewhere.
