Sea deaths charges

The captain and owners of the Western Winner, a Panamanian-registered cargo ship which was in collision with a British oil tanker, have been charged with manslaughter. Nine people, including four Britons and two Irishmen, died when the British Brent caught fire after the accident, which occurred in thick fog off Ostend, Belgium, last June.
