Seat belt plea
A coroner has called on Ford to examine its seat belts after William Gill, 64, of Leyhill, Buckinghamshire, died when the belt in his E-registration Orion was ripped from its mounting on a seat runner. The Bristol inquest, which recorded a verdict of accidental death, was told his death could have been prevented if the belt had been attached to the floor.
