A BOY of 14 was convicted of indecently assaulting a teenage girl only three days after the same court acquitted him of raping her. The boy, who was 13 at the time of the assault, was convicted on the same evidence on which the magistrates had acquitted him of rape. Defence lawyers immediately said they intended to challenge the decision.
