A former record producer who became a slimming doctor was yesterday found guilty of irresponsibly issuing appetite suppressing drugs to patients.
The General Medical Council found that Dr Nigel Gray, 46, of Truro, Cornwall, who produced LPs for the pop group, The Police, had issued or sanctioned the issue of drugs to patients at the Marlowe Diet Clinic in Plymouth between 1990 and 1993.
