A solicitor subjected to an 'appalling campaign' of 'spite and pique' after sending a late wedding invitation to his employer was unfairly dismissed, an industrial tribunal decided. The panel was unanimous that Roland Taylor, 36, sacked ostensibly because he wanted to work with his office door closed, was dismissed unreasonably. The hearing was adjourned to decide the amount of compensation.
