A man was jailed for four years for burning down a Grade II listed watermill next to his home after its owner, his 69-year-old mother, struck a deal to have it restored. John Turner, 45, of Hedingham, Essex, who was convicted of arson, feared once restored the mill would attract tourists and devalue his house.
