Stent 'faces sack'

Julia Stent, former mistress of Tim Yeo, faces the sack as an elected councillor on Thursday, it was claimed. She faces disqualification from Hackney council because she has failed to attend at least one meeting over the past six months - and a housing sub-committee is her last chance, according to Colin Beadle, leader of the council's Liberal Democrat group.
