SHIPYARD union leaders voted to oppose any plans to move work on three frigates from Swan Hunter's yard on Tyneside as part of closure. Shop stewards agreed unanimously at a national meeting in Carlisle on a resolution calling for the yard to be allowed to complete the ships.
