Two teachers were charged last night with indecency offences at a secondary school. Mervyn Douglas and James Archer, who were suspended from Erith School, Bexley, south London, during a police investigation, are to appear in court on 25 May.
Mr Douglas, 42, of Eltham, south London, and Mr Archer, 35, of Bexleyheath, Kent, are both charged with indecent assault on a male, taking indecent photographs and possessing indecent photographs of a child. Mr Archer is also charged with gross indecency with a child.
