Teenager convicted of killing boy, 3

A 17-year-old from Coventry was convicted of beating Carl Kennedy, aged three, to death with a golf club after enticing him into bushes near his home in the Willenhall area of the city.

The teenager was found not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter. Sentence was adjourned.
