A British test pilot has died, apparently of altitude sickness, at the Himalayan site of the Thai Airways Airbus crash which he was helping to investigate. Gordon Corps, 63, was one of three experts sent by Airbus Industrie to help investigate the crash of the Airbus 310-300 which slammed into a ridge at 11,500ft (3,500 metres) and exploded last Friday. All 99 passengers and 14 crew were killed.
