Prison Reform

Pat Arrowsmith has worked full-time in the peace movement and has been on the staff of Amnesty International, where she is assistant editor. She has been a political prisoner 11 times and was twice adopted by Amnesty as a prisoner of conscience. This poem was written in 1974 in Holloway Prison and now appears in Nine Lives published by Brentham Press at pounds 3.95.
