Adam Thorpe was born in 1956 and now lives in France. He has published two collections of poetry, Mornings in the Baltic (1988) and Meeting Montaigne (1990) both published by Secker and Warburg. He is currently giving a series of readings around the country from his novel Ulverton, published this week in Minerva Paperback.
