James Dickey, who has been writing poetry for over three decades, is Carolina Professor and Poet-in-Residence at University of South Carolina. He will be attending the screening of his novel Deliverance during the festival of the American South in the National Film Theatre I, South Bank Centre, at 8.45pm tonight (Box Office: 071 928 8800).
