Matthew Barton was born in 1954 in London and now lives in Bristol. He is a primary school teacher. Five of his poems will be appearing in an anthology, With My Heart in My Mouth, edited by Paul Matthews, Steiner Press, PO Box 955, Bristol BS99 5QN, later in the spring.
