Tim Masters was born in 1965, lives in Reading and works for the BBC World Service. In 1990 he was awarded Reading University's poetry award. His poems have published in magazines and performed at the Berkshire's Writers' Live festival. He will be reading at a poetry evening at Blackwell's (6-12 King's Road, Reading) on 19 October at 7pm. All this week the Daily Poem will feature the theme of London.
