Susan Wicks is a part-time lecturer at the University of Kent in Tunbridge. Her first collection Singing Underwater was published by Faber in 1992 and won the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival Prize. Her second collection Open Diagnosis (Faber) is due out in the spring.
