The gun that killed the American outlaw Jesse James fetched pounds 105,000 - pounds 45,000 over estimate - at an auction sale in Lewes, East Sussex. The .44 Smith and Wesson No. 3 New Model Revolver originally belonged to Bob Ford, who shot James on 3 April 1882.
