Barry Fitt, 42, of Basildon, Essex, who teamed up with a former postman in a plot to rob a mail van was jailed for 11 years. The men sent an electronic tracking device by special delivery to ensure it was placed with valuable mail, the Old Bailey was told. Former postal worker Nemji Champ, 31, will be sentenced later.
