Transplant girl dies

A three-year-old girl who received Britain's first combined small bowel and liver transplant, has died. The girl, known only as Natasha, had the operation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, in April.

Laura Davies, aged five, was on a ventilator at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital after suffering a lung collapse following her multiple organ transplant.
