The trial of two men accused of hiring a hitwoman to murder a male patient at the Royal Free Hospital, north London, was abandoned. The Old Bailey was told that it could be months before one of the defendants, Deith Bridges, 21, of Leeds - who was shot in the chest and leg while on bail - is fit to testify.
