THE chairman of an industrial tribunal who asked an Asian senior lecturer if he could speak English 'acted irregularly', the Employment Appeal Tribunal said. Stella Hollis acted with bias and was 'discourteous and disrespectful' to Minya Laher who was claiming racial discrimination at Hammersmith and West London College. A new tribunal will be held.
