The Channel tunnel consortium was fined pounds 200,000 yesterday for failing to ensure the safety of a worker who was crushed to death between two trains while acting as a lookout in October last year.
David Griffiths, 26, of Dover, Kent, who had not been trained to act as a lookout, had jumped off a hygiene train to change a set of points, Maidstone Crown Court was told.
