Anthony Pendrigh, 26, of Eltham, and Steven Farrer, 25, of Greenwich, both south-east London, were charged with attempting to murder Det Sgt Michael Stubbs, who was shot during a raid in Kent, on Tuesday. The two also face charges of possessing a machine gun and Magnum revolvers and are due to appear before Bexley magistrates today.
