Two boys were yesterday charged with murder in the wake of a train derailment in Strathclyde. The two - both 17 - went before Greenock Sheriff Court in private accused over the derailment which led to the death of the train driver and a passenger on 25 June.

The two, both of Greenock, were remanded in custody. It is alleged they placed obstructions on the line.
