The pilot of a Cessna 150 and his passenger were in St Mary's Hospital, Newport, Isle of Wight, with serious multiple injuries last night after their two-seater aircraft crashed into the back garden of a cottage in Bembridge. The pilot, Alan Wilson, 45, from Gibraltar, and his passenger, Martin Osment, 47, of west London, were on a flight to Jersey from Farnborough, Hampshire.
