Wapping case ends
Calvin Tucker, 29, a picket arrested for arson during the Wapping print dispute in 1986, was exonerated at Croydon Crown Court but had his claim for damages for false imprisonment, assault and malicious prosecution rejected. Also rejected was evidence offered by police who said they saw him set fire to a billboard.
