Watchdog defends MPs-for-sale report
THE Sunday Times was justified in using subterfuge to obtain its story about MPs willing to table Commons questions for cash, the Press Complaints Commission said yesterday. Reporters posing as businessmen allegedly made pounds 1,000 payments to two Conservative MPs, Graham Riddick and David Tredinnick.
