Water worms

After a complaint from a housewife, Professor Richard Lacey, of Leeds University, tested water in the Yeadon area of the city and said he had been 'astounded' to find 500 live worms and 100 million bacteria in one fluid ounce. Yorkshire Water also took a sample and pronounced it 'perfectly satisfactory'.
