A giant water bed is on its way to Ukraine where it will help to fly a white beluga whale home to the Okhotsk Sea, north of Japan. The 1,000lb (450kg) whale will lie on the bed, made by the British Waterbed Company in Exmouth, Devon, on the flight. It appeared off Turkey after escaping from a Crimean marine centre.
