Colin Stagg, 30, of Roehampton, south-west London, was committed for trial at the Old Bailey charged with the murder of Rachel Nickell, 23, in July 1992 as she walked on Wimbledon Common with her son, aged two. Bail was refused at Wimbledon magistrates' court.
