Woman dies in shop attack

A woman died and a man was seriously injured after being attacked in a butcher's shop in Bromley, south London, yesterday.

June Barrie, a married woman in her fifties with three children, died on the pavement outside the shop after being stabbed twice. A middle-aged man was said to be critical but stable in Bromley Hospital. Scotland Yard said a man in his fifties had been arrested. and was being questioned.
