Woman still ill

The latest patient to be infected with the potentially lethal disease that has killed three people in Gloucestershire and threatened four more lives was still very ill yesterday. She has a streptococcus Group A infection which has caused septicaemia. The disease destroys tissue and liquefies fat cells.
