Eleven youths were in police custody after a 'major disturbance' at St Charles detention centre, Brentwood, Essex. An investigation into security was launched at the centre after three residents - including the 14-year-old known as Spiderboy, who has escaped from local authority care more than 30 times - absconded on Monday. All three were recaptured.
